Because we pride ourselves as much on our personal approach as on our wide range of services, we have this page to help you put some faces to names.
We realise that this carries with it some intrinsic risks, but on balance we feel sure that once you get to know us you will agree that, although we pose no visible threat to the Hollywood Greats, we are second to none in the way that we look after our clients and their interests.
John joined the firm in 1980 after training in the City and became a partner in 1986. Although a member of the Institute’s Audit and Information Technology faculties he uses his experience and knowledge across all areas of general practice to provide a wide spectrum of business advice to a diverse range of clients. He is also a member of The Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants.
John is married with lots of children and an ever increasing number of grandchildren. He is a keen follower of rugby and likes to appear on stage (in an amateur capacity) and occasionally on the golf course (if no-one else objects!).
Yvonne joined the firm in 1980 after working for Lloyds Bank plc in their Trust and Investment Management Department. Yvonne has been significant in the development of our taxation services. She heads a first class department which provides tax services to both our business and private clients.
Yvonne and her expert team are always ready to respond to client enquiries. The 2017 Budget news confirming Making Tax Digital from 2019 is an exciting change for taxation compliance and Berringers are ready for this. The introduction of our app for use on both Apple and Android devices in 2014 was a marvellous addition to our technological provision and it will be part of our MTD services for clients.
Yvonne is married with two children. When she has a moment to spare, she disappears into her garden…
